How and when did you get into estate agency?
I started in August 2006 at an agency in The City of London after working in various other sales roles. This move allowed me to blend my love for sales, people and property.
What’s your favourite thing about London?
The diverse cultures and how that has affected the different areas of London. In one day, I can visit Canary Wharf, Brick Lane and Kensington High Street and almost feel like I’m in a different part of the world each time.
What do you love about your job?
I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people and getting to know them. When I arrive at an appointment, the person behind that door could be from any background, job, culture etc and I find it really interesting hearing their story and getting to understand how we can help.
What’s your top tip when buying an investment property?
It’s an old cliché but “location, location, location” is so important. In tougher market conditions when tenants have plenty of choice, properties close to a tube station, park and located on a nice, quiet residential street will be most appealing to tenants.
